Locally owned and operated by Terry and Kym Purcell, Purcell’s was established in 1996; a small business from scratch, with a ute, a trailer and a shed. Over the years, Purcell’s has expanded into one of the larges and most well equipped machine shops and line boring businesses within the Central Queensland region, supporting the local community, local industry and the Queensland mining industry.

In 2010, and 2012, Purcell’s underwent two major expansions, including the purchase of new equipment and employment of new specialised staff and apprentices and can now offer mechanical refurbishment for major industrial projects.

Purcell’s Engineering employs staff with varied skills and experience including, CNC programmers, fitter/ machinists, boilermakers and painters. This enables the company to provide diverse capabilities to clients and offer multiple services, without compromising on quality or professionalism.
